Risk Compliance Co-ordinator

 

Reporting to the Senior Risk and Compliance Consultant, you will be an integral member of the Risk and Compliance team that supports management of risks across broad and remote geographies, services and sectors.


As Risk and Compliance Coordinator you will be critical in supporting the team in the delivery of risk and compliance frameworks, risk analysis and reporting and administration of systems.As Risk and Compliance Coordinator you will be critical in supporting the team in the delivery of risk and compliance frameworks, risk analysis and reporting and administration of systems.

The focus of the role is to:

  • Manage and administer Risk and Compliance systems;
  • Support risk and compliance management frameworks through data and trend analysis, and make appropriate recommendations for action;
  • Coordinate the preparation of management reports to senior management and Board Audit and Risk Committee, within agreed time frames and expectations;
  • Monitor, capture and report on regulatory and legislative change in relation to The Salvation Army’s activities;
  • Support Risk and Compliance projects; and
  • Provide administrative team support to Office of The Secretary to the Property Trusts.


While not essential, relevant experience in the Health Services, Social Services, Government or Not for Profit sectors would be favourable.

To be successful in this role, you will have;

  • Demonstrated experience in Compliance or Risk Management processes, systems and roles, or equivalent;
  • A strong understanding of risk and compliance frameworks and their practical application;
  • Understanding of ASIC and ACNC regulations, Australian Charity and Company Law and their practical applications;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends; and
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.


The successful candidate will ideally hold;

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Law or equivalent; and
  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
