Pastor: Narellan Community Congregational Church

We are seeking to call a new full time Pastor who shall serve this local church, feeding, leading and nurturing the congregation. Narellan Community Congregational Church is located in Narellan NSW, in South Western Sydney.
Our vision is that the work of the NCCC will be vital for the community and that through its ministries and programs, it will serve and support the people. We are a mature community, with a history of involvement in the local community, ready to make a difference.

Narellan is on the edge of the South West Sydney growth corridor and is one of the fastest growing areas in the country. It’s our hope that the successful applicant would work with the Church Leadership Team in creating strategies to reach out to families in these new communities.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds

A minimum of five years experience in a pastoral role (Min 10yrs “life” experience that reflects strong leadership and / or managerial skills.)


Relevant theological qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver bible - centred preaching and teaching at our weekly Sunday Services
  • Lead our Pastoral Leadership Team which is responsible for the pastoral care, leadership and spiritual growth of the congregation
  • Mentor, and identify strengths in church members to help them grow and step into ministry rolls
  • Provide oversight to the ministries and activities of the Church
  • Work strategically with the Church to engage with families and children in the community around us
  • Perform Weddings, Funerals, Baptisms and Communion
