Key responsibilities:
This is an existing role that primarily provides adminstrative assistance to the office of Jossy Chacko, the Founder and International President of Empart on a part time basis in all aspects of his position including organising and managing:
  • Correspondance and communications
  • Travel co-ordination (including managing visa requirements, flight bookins and insurance matters)
  • Itinerary development and liaison with partners travelling to the field
  • Co-ordinate and manage meetings and event bookings
  • Record Keeping
  • Working in collaboration with the book keeper, collate expense reports, receipts and co-ordinate reimbursements
  • Aid in the preparation and distribution of board papers
  • Research
  • Assistance to the Board for governance, NFP compliance and reporting to regulators
  • Strategic relationship management
  • Writing and editing initiatives such as editting reports and proof reading.
The role is responsible for liaising with local and international contacts as well as administration, coordination and correspondance that will contribute to ministry objectives, maximise strategic external ministry relations and strengthen current operations.

Education and Experience:
  • Proven experience in administration systems and processes
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Experience and competence using Microsoft applications and CRM platforms
  • 5+ years experience in non-profit or business environment
  • Would be advantageous to have intermediate experience with Xero accounting system.

Other details:
The role reports directly to Jossy Chacko, President Empart and requires a close working relationship with the Executive Assistant, staff, internal and external stakeholders.

Hours Assigned:  Part time role.  Ideally the role is for 25-30 hours per week spread over 5 days. (flexible)

Location:  Wonga Park (private office) and/or Croydon (Empart office) depending on work and needs.
