St Andrews Christian College (Prep – Year 12), located in Wantirna South, Melbourne, is seeking a suitably qualified music teacher for the role of Primary Music Teacher who will support the College’s Mission: To educate our students so that they are well skilled, understand life on the basis of biblical truth, and are motivated to walk with God and serve Him in their lives, so that they will be a positive Christian influence in the world.
We are seeking a dynamic music educator to inspire and enthuse our students, through innovative curriculum and inspirational teaching practices. We want a passionate music teacher committed to impacting young lives for Christ by providing an excellent education and diverse music experiences.

Key Selection Criteria
  • Music education qualifications and relevant teaching experience
  • An awareness and understanding of Christian education
  • Experience in developing a dynamic music program
  • Ability to inspire and enthuse students towards musical excellence
  • Experience in leading music ensembles in varying genres
  • Competent musician with wide performance experiences
  • Profess a Christian faith and regularly attend church
  • Ability to work collaboratively with College staff
