About the role

Under limited supervision, you will provide administrative support to our students and potential students as they enter the enquiry process through to their course completion. Coordinate student allocation to staff, complete all reporting requirements in an accurate and timely manner and be competent in technology and able to learn and use a variety of learning management systems.


This position would ideally suit someone who can work with minimal supervision, shows initiative, is a self-starter with excellent time management skills, good customer services skills with a warm and friendly telephone manner. You will have attention to detail, the ability to solve problems, and be proficient in using software applications including Google Chrome and eLearning systems.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Coordination, allocation and processing all aspects of the student enrolment process
  • Processing change of enrolments, as required
  • Answer telephone enquiries
  • Manage a number of email accounts
  • Manage student information, i.e. demographics, courses and units are accurately recorded on our Wisenet (LRM) and eLearning Systems
  • Have a thorough understanding, or ability to learn, the RTO process of the VET sector
  • Remain informed on legislation regarding the VET Sector, compliance standards, VET Student Loans and other relevant information to RTO management
  • Complete all reporting requirements, including monthly/quarterly course completion, VET Student Loan Reporting, census, AVETMISS, HEIMS data export and new reporting requirements (TcSI) etc
  • Reconcile monthly and quarterly student numbers with relevant staff and Financial Manager
  • Be willing to attend Government information advisory sessions
  • General office administration
  • Attend relevant staff meetings, training and other activities as required.
