We are looking for a highly competent individual who would enjoy being part of a vibrant team, assisting with building and supporting relationships with advocates, managing events and growing Compassion’s Korean ministry among churches and supporters in Sydney.  
  • Sydney, NSW 
  • Part-time temporary position – 22.5 hours per week  
  • Must be fluent in Korean & English 
The Relationship Facilitator will play a key role in helping children be released from poverty in Jesus’ name. 
Key Responsibilities 
  • Coordinate and grow the Korean advocate community in Sydney 
  • Manage advocate events to build relationships and deepen support 
  • Participate in church presentations including setup and pack-down 
  • Engage with new and existing supporters to help them understand Compassion’s holistic child development model 
  • Present the work of Compassion at Korean events such as musicals, concerts and church productions 
  • Data entry of Child Sponsorship Forms and maintenance of Compassion’s CRM system 
  • Work with our Field Experience Team to facilitate trips to the field to see Compassion’s work 
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop appropriate resources for Korean churches and congregations 
Qualification, Experience & Skills 
  • Exemplary communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds 
  • Strong initiative and willingness to help 
  • Event management skills, from invitations and RSVPs, venue and catering organisation, stakeholder management and logistics 
  • A proven track record of providing wide-ranging administrative support to a cross-functional team 
  • A willingness to assist in other organisational growth initiatives 
  • Experience managing and maintaining relationships with advocates 
  • The ability to speak Korean & English 
  • The ability to read and write Korean & English
