The HUB Baptist Church is a muilt site model within the Northern Rivers of NSW and we are a vibrant church with a strong passion for outreach within our towns.

This is a exciting position within The HUB network starting out as part time with the aim to go full time as the church grows and allows us too so if you love God, love people and love His church then get in touch with us as we would love to hear from you.

A large Manse can be provided if needed. 


JOB TITLE: Minister of Religion : Campus Pastor Grafton
JOB TYPE: Part Time
LOCATION: Grafton and Northern Rivers

SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: The Senior Pastors, The HUB Baptist Church

  • To pastor our HUB Baptist Campus in Grafton – leading the congregation in their worship and working within the community as a charitable organisation.
  • To build up the local church within Grafton.
  • To work alongside the exisiting pastors and leaders in The HUB Baptist and the Northern Rivers, helping to resource and support the growing community of churches.
  • To be responsible for a training and mentoring potential leaders within the church, overseeing all aspects of church life including child protection, administration, sermon delivery, pastoral care, health and safety, charitable and missions work.

  • Degree in Theological studies or similar appropriate to role OR be working towards one.
  • Recognised Minister of Religion or at lease with the aim to become a recognised minister within the Baptist Union of NSW
  • Minimum 3 years pastoral experience within a church setting
  • Previous experience in church oversight is helpful
  • Previous experience in local and international missions work would be good
  • Previous experience working across all Christian denominations
  • Previous experience in the legal requirements of churches
  • Excellent pastoral skills, including all aspects of church life
  • Ability to work alongside and co-ordinate teams
  • Good organisational skills –  moderate computer skills a must
  • Mentoring skills essential
  • Driver’s licence

  • Ensure the congregation in Grafton are pastored effectively – considering spiritual needs and the physical needs of a building, schedules and visitations.
  • To consider the wider community of Grafton and identify areas of need which can be met by you as a pastor and the church.
  • To identify, raise and train people for future ministries.
  • To become a vital part of the team of HUB Baptist Pastors, adding to the networking, resourcing, training, mentoring and supporting that already exists.
The Salary Package will be inline with the Bapist Association of NSW and ACT.
