About the Team

The Transformational Gifts team is a national team of relationship managers tasked with achieving financial and non-financial targets, acquiring new donors, driving significant income portfolio growth and retaining major donors required to support and deliver the core mission of TSA in our community.

About the Position

Reporting to the Manager Philanthropy, The Relationship Manager Trusts and Foundations is responsible for achieving financial targets through securing income from philanthropic trusts, foundations and prescribed public funds by identifying opportunities and developing funding applications and grant submissions.

The role is also responsible for representing TSA, building and nurturing relationships nationally. We are seeking to appoint a motivated individual to this exciting full time permanent position based at our Melbourne, Glen Waverley office.

The Relationship Manager Trusts and Foundations, key areas of accountability include:

  • Portfolio Management – grant submissions and proposals, acquittal and evaluation reports in addition to stewarding existing donors
  • Stakeholder Engagement - engage with key external & internal stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives
  • Administration – records updated, regular reporting on activities
  • Risk Management - knowledge of privacy legislation and Australian Taxation Regulations

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • High emotional intelligence, professional attitude and a strong team focus with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and build relationships with people of all backgrounds
  • Proven experience in relationship building and communication
  • Experience in negotiating and networking skills with high net worth individuals (HNWI) and senior executives
  • Demonstrated experience in writing successful funding applications, grants and submissions
  • Experience within fundraising, marketing, sales or public relations
  • Sound knowledge of fundraising standards, principles, policies and procedures
  • A valid driver’s licence
