The Salvation Army’s Transformational Gifts team is responsible for over $60M of revenue annually. It is a national team of relationship managers tasked with achieving financial targets, acquiring new business, driving income portfolio growth and retaining portfolio income required to support and deliver the programs and services of The Salvation Army  to our community.

The Bequest team that forms part of the Transformational Gifts, is responsible for achieving financial targets through identifying prospects and building nurturing relationships with prospective and confirmed bequestors to The Salvation Army (TSA).

 

This critical support role provides administrative, research and fundraising support to the Bequests team.  You will be a part of a newly formed national team that is committed to producing outcomes that bring about long-term, life-transforming and intergenerational change. We are a team aspiring to be at the cutting edge of Fundraising

The Team Admin Support – Bequests will report to the Manager, Bequests and will provide administrative and fundraising support to the Bequests team.

Key areas of accountability include: 

  • Campaign implementation – Support the Bequests Manager to implement acquisition, conversion and retention campaigns to drive regular giving income, including assisting with, reporting and documentation.
  • Operations and Administration – Support the Bequests operations including meetings, agendas & actions, documentation, planning and reporting. Correspondence and documents – mail, correspondence, documents and presentations are prepared, submitted and easily retrieved. 
  • Finance Support – invoices and reimbursements prepared for processing 
  • Events and meeting - Manage on line booking system for wills day’s events. Assist with  invitations and RSVP’s, agenda, all required resources including transport, catering and presentation equipment, and assist with event set up.

For this role you will have a strong team focus with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.  You will have a sound knowledge of Microsoft office suite, email, word processing, calendar & CRM. You will have good organisational skills and good written and verbal communication skills.  Relevant fundraising or direct marketing experience, knowledge and skills will be viewed favourably.

The position will be located in Sydney and support a national team.
