The Performing Arts faculties at St Andrew’s Cathedral School have a 134 year history of providing world-class educational opportunities in Music, Drama and Dance to their students. The role of Performing Arts Administrative Assistant has recently become vacant following the move interstate by a long-serving staff member. An exciting opportunity now exists to work alongside a dedicated team of Performing Arts teachers to deliver excellence in Performing Arts education to our students.

The Role: To provide administrative support to the Director of Performing Arts and the Performing Arts Department generally. 

This role requires someone with:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Positive interpersonal skills
  • Superior organisational skills
  • Respect strict deadlines
  • Able to react quickly and appropriately to rapid changes of events, to take responsibility and make quick decisions when necessary
  • Experience or qualifications in customer/business support, office/computing systems
  • Experience in an administrative role

This position requires the successful applicant to have a Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012, prior to employment at the School.
