About the position:                 

We are looking for an efficient, experienced and self-motivated candidate who works well in a multitasking role. In this role, you will be responsible for:

 1. Administration Co-ordination

Coordinate incoming correspondence with internal and external stakeholders; providing relevant information to callers and/or visitors as well as directing enquiries to appropriate resource persons.

Support the co-ordination of all projects and administration tasks as required by Church Pastors. Based on the calendar, schedules meetings, contacts participants, key-registry and booking calendar. Coordinates purchases supplies and arranges for servicing of office equipment. This role may require the recruitment and management of a team of volunteers (admin support).

 2. PA to Senior Pastor

Assist the Senior Pastor with general responsibilities relating to church ministries, events and programs, as required (primarily the administrative coordination of the Sunday worship services). Managing the Senior Pastor’s diary, appointments, general communication etc.

3. Oversight of OH&S procedures

Manage the process of creating and implementing OH&S procedures to support the operations of NWBC.

About the person:                   

The successful candidate must have:

  • Possess high-level efficiency and organizational skills and a proactive attitude in order to juggle time-driven tasks.
  • Two years’ experience in administration and proficiency in computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases and Photoshop).
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication skills (written/emails and verbal), exceptional interpersonal/customer service skills, and a high attention to detail.
  • Have a high capacity to work efficiently on admin tasks and PA duties. Including ability to coordinate church events.
  • Manage all operations in a professional, confidential and collaborative manner within a team environment (staff, leaders and volunteers).
  • Be an obviously maturing disciple of Jesus intentionally engaged in discipling environment; being discipled and discipling others.
  • Be a member of NWBC or become a member of the church upon appointment.

Employment details:            
This is a 15 hrs (divided into three days in the office) paid position. A commensurate salary will be offered to the successful candidate.
