~~Liberty Church of Christ is currently seeking a passionate and motivated self-starter to come on-board as our Church Administrator.

Located in the Canterbury-Bankstown region of Sydney, Liberty Church of Christ is a small multi-site church working together to become a family of authentic disciples.  Our church’s vision is to see the people of our local community and beyond transformed into passionate, purposeful and whole followers of Christ.

We are looking for the right person to join us and support our ministry team in day-to-day church administration, with the successful applicant overseeing the day-to-day administrative functions of Liberty Church.  The role includes, but is not limited to: general administration duties, digital data management, managing the use of Liberty Church properties, and being first point of contact for the church’s three sites for enquiries by phone, email and in person at the office.

This role is 3 days (22.8 hours) per week and flexibility to work these hours across the week may be available in collaboration with the Senior Pastor. Ideally the successful applicant will have an active church involvement and a willingness to partner in Liberty Church’s mission.

The successful applicant will possess:
- A committed and demonstrated faith in Jesus Christ
- The ability to reflect Christian practice and beliefs in everyday work
- General office skills with demonstrated experience
- Experience in data entry and database management
- A commitment to team ministry
- Strong interpersonal and relational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and good digital literacy

Applicants must have the right to work in Australia on a permanent basis.

The position shall be remunerated on agreement, in accordance with the Clerks – Private Sector Award 2010..
