Wildpath Coffee is looking for a Head Barista/Manager to run our mobile coffee service within the City of Frankston, VIC. This role is to not only effectively manage a mobile coffee business but is also an active Ministry of Wildpath Church, reaching those in need of welfare support and would be highly suitable to someone who wants to grow in the area of Evangelism.

This is a contractor role, similar to a franchise model. We have access to a private property adjacent to Peninsula Prviate Hospital but the intent is for the successful candidate to develop more service location options.

This role also involves:

  • Becomming an active member of Wildpath Church;
  • Adding value and generating sales and maintain healthy supplier relationships;
  • General café style duties, including cleaning of service areas and equipment;
  • Providing free coffee service at selected outreach efforts;
  • Stock rotation; ordering and control; AND
  • Working within the Church team

You have a passion for making and serving quality coffee, bring a great attitude, have amazing customer service, communication and ‘people skills’. We are looking for some experience, so please respond in your application to the following Key Selection Criteria:

  • Ideally you’ll have a minimum of one (1) year coffee barista experience;
  • You create exceptional coffee and work with speciality coffee and latte art;
  • Solid working knowledge of dialling in, yield, dose, machine cleaning and maintenance;
  • Have experience towing a trailer or are ready to learn;
  • Posses some Church Ministry experience;
  • Can cope under pressure with a level head - push through busy services and communicate in a positive manner under stress;
  • Strong knowledge and experience in food safety and occupational health and safety (OHS).
