Client Services Officer

Saward Dawson is a medium sized Chartered Accounting and Wealth Advisory firm with a strong team culture that exists to service the needs of others.  We do this by employing great people who share a similar ethos and aspire to deliver excellence.  This enables our team of 65 plus staff to deliver services in the areas of audit & assurance, business advisory, wealth advisory, personal taxation and superannuation, as well as business, taxation and not-for-profit consulting.  Our wealth advisory services include retirement planning, superannuation strategies, SMSFs & investments.

An opportunity has arisen for a Client Services Officer to join our wealth advisory team within the financial advice area.  The position will see you working in a friendly, modern office environment in Blackburn, conveniently located close to the station.

Position Description
  • Provide a wide range of administrative duties within the wealth advisory team
  • Preparation of basic compliance documents
  • Preparation of client review documents
  • Assistance with client seminars and functions
  • Assisting with projects (ad hoc client or business projects)

  • Have attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Have the ability to use initiative to resolve problems and suggest improvements to processes
  • Possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and have the ability to work as part of a team
  • Be experienced in MS Word and Excel and have general computer literacy and touch typing skills
  • Experience in use of X-Plan/Voyager software would be advantageous though not essential
Experience & Qualifications
This position is ideal for a person who has experience in administration in the Wealth Advisory – Financial Planning sector or who is interested in this area.  It would also suit a graduate who is interested in building a career in wealth advisory.
