Focus on the Family Australia has been helping Australia's families and communities through radio broadcasts, preventative education programs, seminars and a wide range of resources for families for over 25 years. Focus on the Family Australia is a not-for-profit organization that offers relevant, practical support to help families thrive in every stage of life.
As a nationally recognized and respected organization the successful applicant will be able to leverage that reputation and expand our reach to have an even greater influence on the health of families in communities throughout Australia.
The ideal candidate has experience in designing print, online, video and social content, has a passion for developing engaging content through a variety of channels and stakeholder groups and can think out of the box to reach more audiences with our content.

Working closely with the Operations and Relationships Manager your responsibilities would include.
- Creation of print media (brochures, posters and promotional pieces)
- Creation of social media content (images/quotes, informal and formal)
- Creation of web media (typically adapted from print media)
- In-house video projects for our various platforms

Skillset required.
- Tertiary qualifications or appropriate relevant real-world experience.
- General understanding of technology and media.
- Highly proficient in Adobe CC (specifically Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign).
- Proficient in FCPX and/or Premier & After Effects.
- Understanding of all major social/digital channels.
- Understanding of print practices (not essential but highly valued).
- Ability to illustrate (not essential but highly valued).
This role is newly formed and has the flexibility to best suit the right candidate. The position is for a period of 12 months with the possibility to extend further into the future, subject to organizational needs and funding.
