Position Requirements
Working closely with the Senior Payroll / Human Resource Officer, the Payoll Officer will play a key role in processing the fortnightly payroll of approximately 160 employees, ensuring compliance to EA and industrial instruments. Your responsibilities will include:
  • End to end payroll processing and related reporting
  • Assisting with payroll related functions including reporting & payments for superannuation, PAYG and ReturnToWorkSA
  • Managing employee records & staff enquiries
  • Understanding EA and the relevant industrial instruments to facilitate a smooth payroll process
  • Reconciliation of payroll / finance tasks
The role is to potentially incorporate various finance and accounting duties depending on applicants qualifications and skillset.

Person Requirements
It is expected that applicants will:
  • Have proven experience in end to end payroll processing & managing employee records
  • Have a high level of financial, analytical & numberical skills & attention to detail
  • Have exceptional communication skills both written & verbal
  • Be committed to Christ & able to demonstrate active church involvement
  • Hold or be willing to complete Responding to Abuse & Neglect in Education Care training (RAN-EC) & DCSI (Child Safe Clearance)
  • Accounting experience & qualifications would be an advantage.
