Job Description:

Baptist Financial Services Australia Limited (BFS) is a leading provider of financial services across Australia to support Christian ministry.  We have been active for over thirty years and are currently experiencing an exciting period of growth.

Applicants must have the following skills:
• A high level of proficiency in the use of Word (and other desktop publishing tools), PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, together with intermediate Excel skills.
• Ability to review and document processes and to prepare, revise and complete related documentation.
• Ability to identify documents impacted when a change occurs.
• Understanding of SharePoint and equivalents/alternatives is a distinct advantage.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and by phone/Skype.
• Ability to research industry best practice and research a broad range of potential issues that impact on process change and improvement. 
• Strong independent/critical thinking skills and an enquiring mind (Why do we do it this way? How could we do it better) as well as the willingness to follow specific direction when required.
• Able to accept and exercise responsibility
 

Job Requirements:

Experience:
• Experience in Maintaining register of forms and documents which is up to date.
• Proven experience in translating policy to process/documentation.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated as good team player but able to work independently
• Demonstrated experience in managing priorities and delivery against urgent deadlines when required.
• Experience in executing and delivering to outcomes.
• An understanding of Baptist Churches an advantage.

This position provides the opportunity to be actively involved in the work of the Christian Church in the financial services ministry.

An appropriate salary will be negotiated for the position.
