The Salvation Army (TSA) is implementing the new Local Missin Delivery (LMD) model that brings together local mission expressions (service delivery) in a geographical area.  The goal is to effectively deliver integrated holistic mission to all Australian communities and to better understand and address their needs.
 
This role will coordinate the implementation of the LMD across TSA so that every mission expression reflects the organisation’s full Mission.  They will lead a small but geographically dispersed team and work with key senior stakeholders to ensure their involvement and commitment.
 
The LMD Model Coordinator will report to the Head of Mission Resources Department.

Job Requirements:

Key areas of accountability include:
  • Planning for implementation – develop and implement an 18 month plan and be accountable to achieve the plan
  • Stakeholder engagement –  facilitate stakeholders to understand the model, implementation plan and support them to to implement the plan in their area  
  • Risks & Issues Management – identify risks and issues early and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure effective implementation
  • Review of effectiveness – develop and monitor effectiveness measures
For this role you will have experience in successfully implementing organisation development initiatives in a large, complex and geographically dispersed organisation and demonstrated expertise in influencing executive level stakeholders.   You will have a post graduate qualification in organisation development or similarly related field.
 
The position will require regular interstate travel and the location is negotiable.
