About the program
Wesley Home Care & Disability Services assists frail aged and people living with a disability to lead fulfilling lives by providing life enriching care in the community. We offer quality care, encouraging clients to maintain independence, while catering for their social, physical and spiritual needs.
 

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Wesley Mission’s Home Care & Disability Portfolio, which is experiencing continuous growth. You will schedule the service delivery of our care workers to our clients, and maintain care worker rosters within a data management system. You will be the key contact for clients regarding schedule changes.

Job Requirements:

To be successful in this position, candidates must be able to demonstrate the capability to meet the criteria outlined below:

Essential criteria
• absolute commitment to client centred care and support where courtesy and respect are essential
• minimum 3 years general administration experience including operation of client management databases, Windows proficiency, Microsoft Suite (especially word, excel and outlook), record management and prompt response to telephone queries and requests
• experience with the scheduling of rosters or demonstrated transferable skills
• strong communication skills to liaise effectively with a wide range of people in different capacities
• ability to work within organisational quality management systems
• ability to follow organisational policies, procedures and guidelines
• ability to implement and deliver improvement measures
• high level organisational skills, including a proven ability to meet deadlines and reporting requirements
• proven ability to work independently and as part of an effective results driven team
• active participation in on call roster duties
 

Desirable criteria
• experience in an aged care/community setting
• knowledge and experience in coordinating telephone referrals and providing necessary information regarding community services to clients

Remuneration
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Level 4, Pay Point 4. A competitive remuneration package, including salary packaging, is available. Wesley Mission offers flexible working conditions to enable work-life balance.
