OFFICE MANAGER
 
Kardinia Church is seeking an experienced Administrator/Office Manager who enjoys a challenge, has exceptional organizational and communication skills and is a proven problem solver.
 
The Office Manager will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the Kardinia North campus and will provide superior administration support to the Senior Pastors and other staff as required.

Kardinia Church exists to see God made famous in our city, nation and world.
 
Kardinia is not a ‘Sunday only’ church. We are active in the community 7 days a week. Kardinia provides a wide range of community services such as Playgroups, Childcare & Kindergarten Centre, courses and a variety of kids, youth and family programs.
 
While Kardinia has 5 campuses across Melbourne, Geelong, Ballarat and Warrnambool. This position is based at our Geelong North Campus located in Bell Post Hill, Geelong.
 
ABOUT THE ROLE
  • This position has negotiable hours. Either 4 days (32 hours) per week, or 5 days (38 hours) per week.
The duties of this role include;
  • Being the friendly face of Kardinia Church and providing excellent service at all times including; greeting visitors, answering phones and responding to emails
  • Providing superior administration support to the Seniors Pastors and other staff as required
  • Coordinating the administration for events, advertising, courses and community services
  • Facilitating the ordering and distribution of materials and office supplies
  • Coordinating the Pastoral Care database
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will have;
  • Previous administration and office experience preferably in a church or ministry setting
  • Ability to problem solve and show initiative
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional and friendly approach
  • Exceptionally strong organizational and time management skills
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office Suite (especially Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to build and develop a team of volunteers
