Job Description:

The Project Manager will be based at Head Office in Gaythorne (Mitchelton), close to shops, surrounded by trees, with ample parking, and 10 minutes’ drive to the Brisbane CBD. The position is full time for a fixed term of 3 years, and reports to the Executive Manager Business & Development.

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of major building and construction projects throughout their life cycle, from planning to execution, incorporating feasibility, planning, design, delivery and review. It is expected that the Project Manager will take the lead role on major construction works, as well as significant refurbishment works as they arise to meet strategic objectives.

Job Requirements:

You will need:
• Ability to work within the Christian ethos and framework of Carinity
• Minimum 7 – 10 years of successful large scale ($20 mil +) building projects management or construction works experience
• Strong negotiation skills and decision-making abilities
• Demonstrated attention to detail, sound documentation and records management
• Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Microsoft Project
• National criminal history check, or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement
